Mission Statement
The Amici Journal is a celebration of what it means to be Italian-American, and it’s also a celebration of culture and life -something we all can share. We fascinated by Italy’s cultural works, and are dedicated to elaborate and explore the history of Italian culture and art and the Italian-Americans who have impacted our community. Through the Journal, we will explore great Italian restaurants, highlight the artist and musicians who embody the romantic ideals of the Italian-American heart, feature businesses that impact the community, emphasis notable people and bring you news of interest. The Journal will also support the endeavors of all the Italian-American social and charitable clubs in the Chicagoland area, and will help pro-mote these organizations, their efforts and the community in general. To that end, we invite anyone to submit press releases, promotional materials, story ideas and upcoming events for publication.

The Amici Journal addresses all aspects of the Italian-American experience that impacts Chicagoland. • Successful suburbanites are the epitome of upward mobility, just a couple rungs below the top and situated recently in growing neighborhoods of affluent homes with a median home value over $377,000.
